Asian Cabbage Salad

This recipe is from Beachbody’s Ultimate Reset.  It is crisp and refreshing and very tasty!

If you are doing the Whole 30 or are Paleo, you can substitute coconut aminos for the Braggs.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar (unsweetened)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger root
  • 2 Tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
  • 1/2 or 1 small head Napa cabbage (shredded (4 cups)
  • 1/2 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Himalayan salt, to taste
  • Avocado, topping (optional)

Asian Cabbage Salad
Instructions
  1. Mix together vinegar, lime juice, oil, ginger and Bragg Liquid Aminos in a small bowl.
  2. Combine cabbage, carrot, red and green onions and cilantro in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with dressing and toss gently to blend. Let salad marinate, covered, in refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.
